City Getaway Outfits: What I Packed
We just wrapped up our babymoon/engagement anniversary getaway and it was so much fun! We opted for a quick trip to a local town. Here is a quick peek at a few easy but put together outfits.
Midi Skirt | Faux Fur Mules | Bag | Night Gown | Makeup/Travel Case | Highlighter | Sandals | Suitcase
Outfit 1: A black dress for the first night out. I opted to pair it with chic flats for comfort along with a very handy bag. I used the top handle option for dinner and the crossbody strap came in handy for exploring later. Another great handbag option here that I use all of the time and a different version of patent flats here.
Outfit 2: Super comfy. Black ribbed top along with the most versatile midi skirt. I love this skirt because I can pull it over or under my bump and the elastic is not tight (non maternity skirt). More colors here, here and here. I chose to wear my mules for exploring. To top off the look, a handy faux leather jacket.
For pajamas, this SUPER cute chemise dress. Very pretty and comes in a ton of colors (not maternity). This dress was received during a collaboration with FlipFit.
I like to wear jelly flats around the hotel room. They also dub as after shower shoes!
This makeup case that I've mentioned in a previous luggage post was a winner for me. It frees up so much space in the suitcase when used for makeup and toiletries. More colors here.
During the day I kept my makeup pretty minimal. I’m loving the dewy, glowy look right now. I cannot rave enough about this drugstore highlighter. Every time I wear it I get compliments on my skin. It’s also under $10!
