Winter Weather Favorites- Teddy Coat and Plaid

Happy December and what many bloggers call plaid season. It’s such a fun and simple way to feel festive for this time of year. I did a poll on my Instagram stories and a whopping 94% said that they’re really into plaid. 6% said no not really. I've noticed that plaid is a pretty yes or no thing; either you're into it or it's not for you. For this look I wanted to add a little more to my basic button shirt so I opted for a long teddy coat in a contrasting color. This teddy coat was a steal last year from Shein but they are everywhere so I linked a similar version. I added black accessories to dress it up a bit. Let’s talk about the bag. Yes that is a summer straw bag, but I like to think of it as basic. For example, you can always wear basics such tees in the winter as long as you layer it, right? There really are no rules to fashion. I’m really excited to play around with Christmas/winter fashion this month. Happy holidays!
