Luvme Hair Wig- My New Protective Style

I am so excited to share a new protective hair style that I love. First, I will share a little about my hair journey. I have worn my hair natural for about 4 years now. I cannot explain how much I love it! Like everything else there are ups and downs. In my personal experience natural hair is more maintenance than relaxed or other hair styles. It takes time, patience and effort. Thankfully over the years of trial and error I have found what works for me. My go to protective style is usually braids with my own hair, but I recently received a wig gifted from Luvme Hair. This is my first wig ever and I am sharing my experience today and thoughts on how I like it as a protective style. To note, I am wearing the 12 inch Summer Style Deep Wave Bob Headband Wig found here

I want to go into how easy the headband wig is to put on. As a first time wig user I was able to install with no issues at all so it is very user friendly. It helped that the wig was ready to use right out of the box. It was packed neatly and the hair was silky, smooth with no kinks.  I love that it came with a (optional) wig cap to keep my hair in place under the wig. I also utilized the built in hair clips to keep it in place. I wore it all day with no problem as it was comfortable (and not hot).

Since the headband wig is so user friendly, it brings me to how much time it saves. I am a mother of two so sometimes I do not have time to style my natural hair. I usually put on a cute hat, but now I am so glad that I have this other quick option. I would say that it took me less than 5 minutes to put on the wig itself and secure.

Styling this wig was so much fun! It is quite versatile and can be styled in a lot of different ways. It was a nice surprise to see that the wig came with beautiful high quality head bands to swap out to match an outfit. Here are a few other ways that I styled my new bob wig:

In my very first photo above I did a classic half up half down look. I would wear this for quick errands on the weekend!

Here I opted for a swoop/comb over. This would be work appropriate-switching out to a dressier headband.

Finally, my personal favorite. I love this messy bun look for date night or anything in the evening. Pair with a red lip and favorite hoops!

A few more final thoughts. I was a little skeptical of deciding to wear a wig, but I would have to say that I think it is a great option as a protective style. It saves time and is an easy alternative!
