OOTD and Re-Styling What You Own

Happy New Year!
New year, new wardrobe right? Well, not quite. If you’ve followed me for a while then you may have noticed that I am HUGE fan of getting as much wear out of my clothing pieces that I can. I’ve grown to learn how to shop a bit smarter (ie. if I can wear it more than a few ways than I don’t need it). I love re-styling piece as well as re-discovering the joy of a top that I wore 3 seasons ago. So this year you will see this topic pop up on the blog quite a bit. I will show how I’ve styled a particular piece or pieces currently as well as how I wore it in the past. Above is today’s look. Here is a break down of my favorite re-worn pieces:
Gray Coat- a newer addition to my closet but already worn a ton. My favorite part is the collar. It lays flat which is a really chic touch. It’s also very light-weight; more of cardigan material so it layers with other chunky pieces well. It will also be great for the spring. This exact coat is found here.
Gray Sweater- it's only by accident that the sweater and coat match pretty well together (I also wore both together in the photo above ). This sweater transitioned seamlessly into the winter. I purchased it when the weather was a little warmer and wore it on it's own. I love when clothing items are versatile. Here is a similar style.
Joggers- arguably one of 2020's most popular clothing items. For a good reason too. Not only are comfortable but a nice tailored pair can be worn out. They can be dressed up or down as well. The pair that I'm wearing has a fun side stripe detail that adds a more sporty vibe. Same joggers were worn early fall in the photo below. The exact pair can be found here.
